Founded in 2004 by Jim Welsh, Elite Horse Transport is a highly respected carrier based in central Kentucky. Jim Combined his experience as an equestrian, international transport groom, and active horse farm owner with his extensive business experience to for Elite Horse Transport. Jim set out to build a transport company that was committed to the horse’s welfare first with sound and ethical business practices. That Formula is still the core commitment that drives Elite Horse Transport today, almost 2 decades later.

As a savvy horseman himself, Jim hires drivers with extensive hands-on horsemanship skills who are committed to the safety and well being of every horse as it is a formula for success.
