Stall Examples

Single Stall

The most economical class of travel. Horses travel divided by a partition, 3 abreast and are cross tied to keep them secure. This stall is one third the width of the trailer/van and is provided as directed by the shipper.

Stall and a Half

This stall provides comfortable space in a standing stall. Horses travel divided by a partition, 2 abreast and cross tied. This stall is half the width of the trailer/van.

Box Stall

The best and most recommended way to transport your horses is a box stall. The box stall allows your horse to move around their stall freely and allows them to drop their heads, giving horses the ability to keep their lungs clear. This is the only way to transport a mare and foal or a horse that has never been cross tied. The stall is the entire width of the trailer van and up to 7 feet in length.
